Guys Hair Styles – Hey guys, Kayley here.
With school coming back,it is obviously time to talk about some back to school hair.
This year, I wanted to focus on styles that are a bit morequick and easy to style with your favorite outfit.
I hope this helps giveyou some inspo on your way to back to school.
Let’s get started.
We’re gonna start with this half-up do.
(upbeat music) First, make a U-shaped sectionon the top of your head and secure it into an elastic.
Then, wrap the ponytail into a loose bun and put it in place.
Now, you’re gonna do the samething a few inches lower.
You can choose to connect these two buns for a more polished look,or you can leave them apart for a more undone look.
And that’s it, this is great for an understated bohemian look.
It’s feminine, but it’s not too much, and you can easily pair itwith a cute sweater or florals.
And now, we’re moving onto this bun.
I got a few requests forhairstyles that are easy to do and that you can wear accessories with.
So, here you go.
So, I’m gonna make a loose bun, starting obviously with a high ponytail.
Now, depending on yourhair, you can keep it sleek, or you can loosen it up a little bit to make it more rolled out of bed chic.
And then, if your hair is shorter, you can also do thiswith a half-up ponytail if your whole hair doesn’tgo into that ponytail.
Then, I like to back combthe hair with my fingers to fluff it out.
Then, I wrap it into a bun.
And once you’ve pinned it in place, you can fluff it out a littlebit more for more volume.
Now, if you have baby hairson the nape of your neck, here’s what you can do.
Bring them together and give them a twist.
Then, bobby pin them usingthis lock down method.
You’re gonna twist the pin a few times, place it over that twist that you made, and then turn it 180 degrees, and pin back in the direction that you came from.
And those baby hairsare not going anywhere.
Finally, I’m adding thisbun pin from Kitsch.
I love bun pins becausethey’re beyond easy to use, and they really take abasic bun to the next level.
And that’s it, next timeyou’re having a bad hair day or you’re running late, justgive this hairstyle a try, and see if it doesn’tmake everything better.
And finally, let’s go ontothis double dutch updo.
You’re gonna start bysplitting your hair in half, and if you don’t like how your hair looks with a middle part, you can part your hair on top diagonally so that you have that sidepart and a little asymmetry.
I’m going to stick with a middle part, then clip one side out ofthe way and dutch braid the side you’ve left down.
I recommend startingwith really small pieces and slowly making thepieces you add in larger.
That gives the braid alittle more definition.
And if you don’t know how to dutch braid, I have a whole tutorial on that that will teach you how.
Once you get to the nape of your neck, secure that hair into an elastic, and then pull the braidapart for some extra volume.
Once you have the braidthe way you want it, you can braid the hair in the ponytail about 2/3 of the way.
Then, also pull apart thebraid that’s in the ponytail, and then wrap it into a bun.
With the unbraided ends, just wrap them loosely.
I really love the addedtexture of the unbraided hair next to the braids.
And now, we’re gonna do thesame thing on the other side.
If the bun I just showedyou sounds too complicated, you can do the puffy bun thatI did for the last hairstyle.
Or, honestly, whatever you find easiest.
And once that’s done, yourhairstyle is complete.
This is a super Instagramable hairstyle, and you can style it edgy, boho, comfy, or girly.
Whatever you’re feeling forthis new semester of school.
And that’s it.
I hope you guys enjoyedthis back to school video, and I hope I gave you some inspo for your look this semester.
